My first impression: I haven't tested Unreal Engine 5.8 yet, but the features that immediately caught my attention are the new Mesh Terrain system and the animation workflow improvements. I'll definitely be experimenting with both over the coming weeks to see how they fit into my projects and whether they're worth upgrading for.
